We will learn what Holy Communion is and why we partake in Holy Communion as a congregation. Kids and parents will talk about faith-based issues each week. First Communion – Retreat

This retreat is for 5 and 6 graders and their parents, and is a fun way for everybody to get to know each other, while learning the meaning of communion. Students and parent-chaperones will stay at Camp Carol Joy Holling Center outside of Ashland, NE. 5 and 6 graders and their parents are invited to celebrate a Seder Meal to honor the Passover Meal of the Old Testament. This Seder Meal is located in the Adult Suites (just across from the Main Worship Center) This is a reenactment of the Old Testament Passover Meal.
