Announcements – March 26-April 1

Worship Passover Feast – Join us at 6pm on April 13 for the Maundy Thursday Passover Feast. This feast is a celebration of the Passover. We remember the story of God’s deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. In the Passover we see the foreshadowing of God’s plan for the redemption of all mankind from sin through the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus. There is no cost for the Feast but everyone, including children, must be registered so we have an accurate count for seating and food! Register by mail, in the corridor on Wednesday nights and Sundays or online at kingofkingsomaha.org/register.…

Worship Pastor Dan Farewell – We will be celebrating Pastor Dan’s farewell on March 26 at all services. We want to bless Pastor Dan and Charlotte with a farewell celebration and send-off, so there will be a reception in the corridor where you can greet them and share your love with them.  There will be a basket where you can drop off notes or cards, and/or gifts.  Our faithful LWML ladies will be providing refreshments that morning in their honor.  We will also be praying over Pastor Dan in all the services that Sunday. In the meantime, please keep Pastor Dan, Charlotte and their kids, Alexis, Micah and Titus in your prayers as they prepare for their next adventure!…

Worship Epiphany- After celebrating a season of the coming and arrival of Jesus, we can be confident and know that He came for us. But now that we know that Jesus has come, who was and who is Jesus? Join us for eight weeks of Epiphany, where we’ll discover who Jesus is and who we are in Him. Ash Wednesday – Join us for Ash Wednesday worship on Wednesday, March 1 at 5:30 or 7:30pm! Wednesday Night Lent Worship – Join us on Wednesdays, March 8 through April 5, for dinner at 5:30pm and then Worship at 6pm in the Chapel or 6:30pm in the Worship Center.…

Worship Wednesday Night Advent Worship – Join us for Advent Worship for the whole family on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, on December 7 and 14. Prayer Intensive – Please join us for a one-hour Prayer Intensive from 8-9am, Sunday mornings through December. Everyone is warmly welcome to participate. We will meet in the Prayer Room or the Revelation Room if a larger room is needed. Please join us on Sunday, December 11 and 18. Uniting Omaha in Prayer-We are blessed with the opportunity to join with other local churches across the metro to come together to intercede for our city. Our next gathering is Tuesday, December 13 from 7-8:15am in The Temple in The Haven.…

Worship Upcoming Sermon Series: euangelizō – The New Testament was originally written in Greek, and uses the word euangelizō 54 times. It’s a verb that means: I declare the Gospel, I bring the good news. So how do you do that? How do you share the Gospel?  Scripture gives us metaphors to help declare the Good News of Jesus in many different situations. Each metaphor delivers the work of Jesus using different images. Come hear the good news and discover different ways you can declare the Gospel to your friends and family. Announcements-May 29-June 4

Worship Building Closure-The building will be closed on Monday, May 30 in honor of Memorial Day. The Seven Signs-As St. John recounts the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus in his Gospel, he gives us a summary in John 20:30-31: “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” Matthew, Mark, and Luke talk about the “miracles” Jesus performed.  But John intentionally uses the word “signs” and he structures his Gospel around seven signs that point us to something greater and reveal to us just who Jesus is.  …
