I was thinking today, “It’s a small world after all.” Even hummed the Disney oldie. It all started when Kids Kount Publishing, our mission arm to the world, forwarded an email request from Russia. It seems a short-term missionary with Athletes in Action in Moscow emailed us to request some large puppets. This missionary shared about how effective these puppets were as he was doing outreaches with audiences of kids. When he couldn’t figure out how to get more puppets, he ended up on our website. His question? Whether or not we could help him get some nice, large puppets.
Together we transform lives and make the world a little bit smaller.
It’s not unusual to get communications from around the world on our Kids Kount Publishing website. Last quarter we had 95 downloads from 16 countries. We love to help! However, in this case, shipping puppets to Moscow might be problematic. But remember, “It’s a small world after all.” Our ministry partner Kids Kount India now has their own puppet factory, so we asked them to help out. “Of course,” was the response from Prabhu, the director of Kids Kount India. With both of them being on the same continent, shipping would be no problem. And, always happy to help a young missionary, Prabhu even offered to ship at no cost!
We at King of Kings talk about transforming lives through connection to the world. That means the transforming power of Christ is something we share with those way beyond our immediate world. When we do, they seem closer. They are part of the body of Christ, and we have a connection with them. Together, we transform lives and make the world just a little bit smaller!
