Christmas Caroling Brings Season to Life
A group of carolers took to the streets of Omaha Dec. 9 to bring forth Christmas cheer to a neighborhood on 27th Street. Christmas is the season to celebrate and give, and the carolers spread the cheer with songs like, “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
Teri Roberts, one of the carolers, says right around 25 people came to sing. They broke off into smaller groups, but a few of those groups grew as they went from house to house. “A couple of little girls were watching us come down the street through their front window, and when we got to their house, they joined us and sang with us.”
The carolers also prayed for many of those they visited. Several people invited the groups inside to sing and pray.
“It was a very touching evening. We were very blessed,” Teri says.
